I snapped this picture while in an church on the Harvard University campus. The church was dedicated to Harvard students who gave their lives fighting in World War I, and all of their names were engraved into a memorial on a wall of the church. It was very chilling to see how many veterans, especially from Harvard alone, there were.

This clock was located on the front of the balcony in the back of the church. I took this picture after turning around to leave, and it is completely unedited. There are several things I like about this photograph. The way that I framed the clock interrupts the circular geometry and provides and interesting effect.  The lighting from the flash on my camera only accentuates the vintage look of the clock.

Do you ever realize how many times you look at a clock during the day? People are constantly checking the time and rushing around like madmen. After being on vacation for over the past week, I have realized how important it is to take the time to pause and relax. To savor experiences, and to enjoy everything to the most potential possible.
